so what do we do now? A summer playlist perhaps?

 We've been waiting for summer to begin since we got off break last year and now that its here what do we do now? I guess if you're like me you sit on your computer and blog but,  I think it helps if you have a summer playlist. Every summer I like to pick new songs and start a playlist that could define my summer. Music can have a power over you. It can change your mood or fit it. I honestly can flip flop between gangsta rap to indie techno to folk music. This summer Kayne came out as a high roller in his album "Yeezus" that set expectations high for albums coming out this summer. But for those who aren't quite into rap indie techno has become a super cool summer music trend. Purity Ring is personally one of my favorites for the summer and  the cool techno/trance beats have a way of lightening your mood. I'm allways impressed with Empire of the Sun their new album "Ice On the Dune" has a quality that is a bit dancey but makes you feel full of life. Summer is a way to expand your horizons and music can have a lot to do with it. My summer playlist has a way of inspiring me and quite frankly is one of my favorite things about summer. Good luck!
