OOTW 7/29 : The Usual

     On Friday for my friend's birthday me and a couple of her good friends went down to Santa Monica to do a little retail therapy. It was an amazing trip and I was able to pick up some great stuff from Brandy Melville. One thing this store is know for is their street worthy California style. Here is an outfit that I picked up while I was there:

   

  When I saw this shirt I couldn't help but giggle. I mean look at me its such great irony! The t-shirt and shorts are from Brandy Melville. Being someone who doesn't look that great in short shorts, I found a pair of high-waisted shorts that fit my body like a dream. When I got back I took my new clothes to the streets.........don't worry I won't say that again. 

 

 Although sandals would look cute I thought a cute pair of black patent leather, lace up oxfords would do the trick. The shoes give this outfit a must need edge.

Easy, Breezy,California

       So today as I was hanging out with my best friend she proceeded to inform me about this great pair of pants she got in Spain. When I saw them I was speechless. Not only were these pants unique, but they were also very fun. She then began to ask me what to wear with them. As I began to go through her closet I began to find pieces that scream California. This is what we came up with: 

 

   I paired the pants with a see through sweater and bralette. Then, I found a super cute silver belt. 

 This look is super chic paired with brown sandals and a super cute brown satchel. 

This look is definatly quirky and unique. 

OOTW 7/22 World traveler

    This week I was inspired by prints. Bold tribal prints are one of this summer's must haves. If you aren't the kind of person who goes bold right of the bat try mixing prints with neutrals that way the print stands out the most.

      

       I feel like summer is all about travel and I think this look incorporates a very worldly vide. 

    

  I paired this look with a brown belt, pretty understated jewelry and, brown Madden Girl sandals. The bag is a cross body black Coach saddle bag.

Proposal

    So as a blogger I've been doing a pretty bad job at keeping you guys up to date on fashion. So I propose I do an outfit of the week. Every Monday i will post a different outfit to help inspire your weekly wardrobe. Each outfit can be for different occasions. I feel like its my job to help inspire your summer wardrobe although summer is coming to a close. I should probably warn you I'm not the most photogenic person but I can assure you that I will start doing a better job at keeping you guys up to date.
